Our client problems is how to hanging Gin Pole Using Scaffolding in Offshore Facilities. This scaffolding is should able to carry the following criteria :
- The Structural Height Is About 18 meters
- The Material to be lifted and hanging around 2 Ton consist of Shackle, Turn Around Sheave, Toolcatcjer, Riser, QTS, Tool Trap and BOP

Trial
To test our design, we build and evaluated our design by trial in nearly same situation. The Concern of this model is to execute in the offshore, convined space and very risk load/duty.
Evaluation & Re-Trial
After first trial, together with our client we perform deeply discussion how to improve and solve some problems and mitigate the risk that occur in the field.

Man Power Preparation
Because its very critical job and high risk we reqruit qualified personil that have wide experienced in offshore and scaffolding job. In order to the budget, and situation limitation we prepare for 1 Experience Rigging & Scaffolding Supervisor, 4 qualified Scaffolder.
We’re conduct t-BOSIET Tropical Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training.
Scaffolding Material; Tools Preparation
To perform this job we have to deliver quality and inspected scaffolding material standar BS1139 thickness 4 mm and already pass inspection controll.
Another risk equipment that have to mobilize to the site is hanging beam with pad eyes. This hanging beam is next will be support by scaffolding and lifted the main material. in order to make sure that there’s no failure in hanging beam we invite thrid party to ferform welding by certifed welding and perform also NDT Test for the welding.
Safety Management
The job is mainly risk because its located in offshore, convinent space and also the job is to perforated well that using explode material. So we’re very careful to handle its by seriously to conduct HIRA for overall project planning & executing and the Job Safety Analysis when the job is perform in the field.
